Highlights of your life since graduation: Celebrating anniversaries and holidays with my husband Jim, traveling around the world, riding on the Orient Express, surviving a hurricane in Fiji, living in a foreign country, starting a business with my daughter and last but definitely not least becoming a grandparent to Ally and Jacob. | |
Memories or anything else you'd like to share: It's really hard to believe that it has been 50 years since high school. Looking back I realize how fortunate we all were to get the great education we received at SSHS. |

Between them we have nine lovely grand children 5 boys and 4 girls ranging in age from 16 to 4. All of our children live near us in Buffalo Grove and Long Grove. We are fortunate and so are they. Workwise I am retiring from Gold Eagle Co as of March 31st after 32+ years with them. We make and market worldwide automotive fluids and additive as well as package for other companies such as Mercury Marine, BMW and International Engines. Our best know brands are Heet Gasoline antifreeze, Sta Bil fuel stabilizer and Octane 104 fuel additive. Prior to Gold Eagle, I worked for Standard Oil of Indiana(Amoco)for 13 years. Looking forward to retirement with happiness and looking back at leaving Gold Eagle with sadness. I won't miss the commute, the company is locate near Pulaski and the Stevenson Expressway and I live in the No.West tip of Arlington Heights near Lake/Cook Road and Arlington Heights Road. |

Memories or anything else you'd like to share:
South Shore was a wonderful community to grow up in and our High School was as fine a college prep school as exist today. All of the school activities and sports that were available were fun as well as hard work. I miss Rainbow Beach, driving down Lake Shore Drive to the city as well as all of the nice neighbors. It was a totally unique time and community to grow up in. |
