Highlights of your life since graduation: I wanted to be a teacher ever since that first day in Bradwell Kindergarten, and after college, I did teach for a number of years. In 1968 I married Edward Samson and we had two children: Jeremy and Rachel. Our precious and gifted son died at the age of four from a childhood cancer. That sadness never goes away. Edward and I divorced many years ago. I have been in my second career as a Realtor on the North Shore for 28 years. Rachel graduated from Brandeis University and is working in New York. In 2000 my daughter and I visited Israel together. I am patiently waiting for a son-in-law and grandchildren! | |
Memories or anything else you'd like to share: I remember eating gravy on french fries with lunch every day in the cafeteria! In those days I could eat anything and never gain a pound. I have fond memories of the schools, the library, the beach, etc. I vividly remember the smell of Mitchell's and Cunis ice cream parlors. South Shore was a wonderful place to grow up. We walked everywhere and our world seemed so safe. BBG was a big part of my life in high school. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. I love reminiscing about the "good old days," and I hope my future days will include a special guy with whom I can share the rest of my life. (If you know someone, my phone number is posted above!) |
