Highlights of your life since graduation:
Married my high school sweetheart, Bill Piggott in 1964 and gave birth to our two children, Kristen in 1966 and Bill Jr. in 1968. I was fortunate to stay home to raise our children but was heavily involved in philanthropic endeavors during that time with a primary focus on fundraising. I was eventually President of every organization I joined, including our local elementary School Board, where I served three terms. Additionally, I gave many hours to our Village, heading or serving on, multiple committees and commissions. In 1997, I decided to follow in my Dad\'s footsteps and became a Realtor. I listed and sold residential real estate for five years before being tapped by Baird & Warner to manage their Flossmoor office. In addition to being a managing broker for Baird & Warner, I\'ve held several other positions including VP of Management Development and VP of Sales Operations out of our home office in Chicago. Baird & Warner is a great company to work for and was by far my best career move! In 1999 our daughter Kristen, brought our first grandchild into the world, followed during the next three years by the births of her two sisters. They live in Montana so I don\'t get to see them very frequently but aided by Skype, emails, notes, phone calls and the occasional visit, I am very close to those girls. At ages 21, 19 & 17 they are the light of my life! My husband Bill Piggott, began having health issues in 2011 and after a brief illness died in 2013 We had been married for 48 1/2 years. He is still sorely missed. 3 years after retiring from Baird & Warner, I moved to the Phoenix, AZ area in 2016. The following year my college sweetheart tracked me down. we dated for the next three years, getting married in November of 2020. Never dreamed that would happen! Sadly, my son, Bill Jr. passed away September 1, 2020 from cardiac arrest. It\'s been difficult getting through the last several months without him.. He loved visiting me in Arizona and was hoping to move here in 2021. Unfortunately, that never happened. He was an incredibly kind, caring, giving man who always gave his most to our family and his friends. He is sorely missed by me, his sister, nieces, Uncle, cousins and friends. Rest in peace my dearest son, until we meet again. |

Memories or anything else you'd like to share:
I look back on the years at South Shore with gratitude for an outstanding college prep education. Teachers who had an impact on the adult I became included, Mrs. Mackie, Miss Annan, Miss Kopel, Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Whitting and Mrs. Bergstrom. In addition to a fine education, there was the social aspect of SSHS. The Tri-Hi-Y meetings & events, all the dances, being Queen of Bradley\'s Mardi Gras my senior year, the submarine races at LaRabida, the dinners at SS Country Club and the good friends with whom I shared my hopes and dreams. It was a wonderful time and a different age, one I wish our grandchildren could enjoy in this now more perilous world. |

Highlights of your life since graduation:
Spent 2 great years at UW-Madison, later graduated from Roosevelt U. Married Howard Pizer in 1964. Worked for TWA for 5 years, ending up as international travel consultant in the office at Monroe & Wabash. Enjoyed many travel benefits! We have 2 daughters, born in '68 and '71, and each has produced 2 grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys. I was privileged to stay home with my children, and was active in PTA, volunteering in their schools, community concerts, and school caucuses in our districts (Wilmette and New Trier). Another volunteer gig has been performing in a show for special needs students for over 30 years. I have been a docent at the Art Institute for almost 30 years, and still going strong at that. |

Memories or anything else you'd like to share: I'm looking forward to seeing classmates, especially those I haven't seen for a long time. Thank you to the committee for putting the reunion together! |
