City: Northbrook

Grade school attended: Horace Mann
Highlights of your life since graduation: I have been blessed with good health and a happy marriage of 45 years. In 1966 I married Lyle Felsenthal,(SSHS59). We have two daughters; Ellen is a professor of art and photography and also owns a "goat" rescue and sanctuary in northern WA. Robin is an LCSW, married to Brett Miller and they have two children, Nathan 7 and Jenna 5. I have been lucky to do some traveling in Europe, Asia and Mexico. Most of my time has been spent raising kids, volunteering, and working for an environmental publication. We now spend our winters in Scottsdale, AZ. I enjoy country and classic rock music, dancing, golf, and of course, DA BEARS.
Memories or anything else you'd like to share: High School was a wonderful time for me. I loved the community we grew up in. Special lifelong friends, sorority, the Youth Center, the Sing, bowling, the Jeffery or Avalon every Sat., Mitchells and Cunis', T-Hut, and an overall sense of well-being. I remember my run-ins with Mrs. Feldman and throwing pennies at Mrs. Majors when she sang for the United Way. We laughed so hard we cried. Mostly I think of those days as happy days.

Memories or anything else you'd like to share: Our daughters Laura and Anne have matured into two splendid young women who now live one block apart in Fort Greene Brooklyn and who both pursue interesting and creative careers in NYC. They have been my life's greatest reward. Liz and I were thrilled during a recent visit with Laura and Anne in Brooklyn to receive the news of Laura's engagement to Weston Wells. They'll marry in September.

Until today I had not been seriously considering attending the reunion feeling that I would prefer to remember my classmates in their prime at 17 or 18 years old rather than the reality of today's 67 and 68 year olds. However, today I received a totally unexpected phone call from classmate Carol Martin and had such a good time talking with her that I may now reconsider.

I am married to my wonderful husband Philip for 45 years. We have two great kids and three wonderful grandchildren. Of course, we are always hoping for more!

My first years of work were in medical research until I moved over to the pharmaceutical side where my last twenty-two years were spent with GlaxoSmithKline as a very successful Account Director for Managed Markets. I am now very happy to be retired and love to keep in touch with my old colleagues.

Philip and I love to travel and have traveled through Europe and Asia. We have already planned our next trip to South America.
