Susan "Susie" Dickman, age 80. Adored wife of the late Marvin J. Dickman for 47 years. Cherished mother of Alyssa Dickman and Rabbi Reni Dickman (Aaron Nessel). Proud bubbie of Gavi and Alexander. Loving sister of Harriet (the late Michael) Weinger and aunt of Laura (Michael) Miller and Karen (Michael) Cutler. Susie graduated from South Shore High School and the University of Illinois. She taught English at Chicago Vocational School and Von Steuben. She also worked for the Florence Melton Adult Mini School. Susie had a way of making and keeping friends from every chapter of her life including elementary school, high school, college, Von Steuben, Arthur Andersen, Broadview, Judson Avenue, BJBE, OSRUI and Sinai Temple. She was also blessed to call so many cousins her friends. Services Monday 10:30 AM at Congregation BJBE, 1201 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield, IL 60015. Interment Rosehill.
