In '66 I got married, had three wonderful children, moved to Whiting, Indiana and divorced my first husband ten years later.
I have been married to my second husband Jim for 34 years. He had four children from a previous marriage. Between us we have 7 children,13 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children. For awhile, I taught painting classes at a local craft shop in Whiting.
We retired in '98 to Monticello ,Indiana on Shafer Lake. We are a five minute drive to Indiana Beach. Even though I now live in the country, I will always be a city girl at heart.
Cunis,Carl's hot dogs, Rainbow Beach. Jewish deli food. When I turned 16, I made my Mom pay full price at the Jeffery Theater. No one questioned her about my age. I'm still 4'101/2". Sharon Farmer and I would go to the Hamilton Theater and see English movies like The Lavender Hill Mob.
. I attended Saturday morning classes at The Art Institute from seventh grade in Bryn Mawr and part of SSHS. My instructor was Addis Osbourne who created Uncle Mistletoe that appeared in the windows of Marshall Field and Co. So many memories. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

March 23, 1944 lesleypeters@verizon.net (813) 964-9556 (813) 964-9556 5002 Paloma Dr. Tampa FL US 33624 Business and Technical Communications www.qcommservices.com Married 2 Life after high school graduation . . .

After South Shore, my life ebbed and flowed with college, marriage to John Stein (another South Shore graduate), and having a family of 2 - a daughter and a son. We moved from Hyde Park to Highland Park in 1971, and began life as a suburban family.

After my kids went to school, I also returned to pursue a technology education, and began a career in computer technology in the corporate world. For about 20 years, I worked for major companies, doing all kinds of technology from traditional programming to teaching business people about computer database software.

In 1989, I moved to Evanston and John and I were divorced. I continued my technology career, and saw both our children move into new and exciting lives. Our daughter Julie married, and moved first to Italy, and then to Greece with her husband, and our granddaughter, who is now 12. Our son Todd, is a chef in Chicago at a downtown restaurant, and has a committed relationship with a lovely young woman.

I married again in 1992 to Lowell Peters, another computer professional. We lived in Evanston for 8 years. My husband has 3 children from his first marriage, and 8 grandchildren. Together, we have 9 lovely young grandkids.

In 1999 my husband lost his job, and he decided winters were just too fierce in the Windy City. At that point, we moved to sunny Florida, and landed in Tampa. During 2005, I made the switch from the corporate world, to becoming a communications entrepreneur.

Currently, I work with small and medium sized businesses, offering business, technical, and editorial writing services.
Miss Annan, one of the very best.

Carl's Hot Dogs - you just went in and out, and never looked inside.

The Hot Dog Pit - awesome!

Football games and hot sunshine on your shoulders.

Walking in the halls, laughing.

Car rides at lunch with the "girls".

Just celebrated my 35th year with American Institutes for Research (AIR) where I am a managing research scientist. The work is always different and always stimulating. (Did I say that I edited the MCAT for a number of years in the 1980's?)

I live in the Santa Cruz mountains (south of San Francisco), and I travel frequently to Washington, DC for work.

I also enjoy recreational travel (seems to be a recurrent theme in the class profiles) and offer evidence of a recent trip to Cambodia in the "now" photo.

I was married early but not long. Since then have been gifted with a few other "significant" relationships, lots of good friends, and many excellent cats. All in all, life is good, and I hope to go on enjoying it for many more years.
Looking forward to the reunion and reconnecting with folks I haven't seen for--well, 50 years!

P.S. AIR, where I work, is the research firm that conducts Project Talent. So if you were a Project Talent participant and don't choose to connect through the project website, I might have to hunt you down personally!--Just kidding :)

Over the years I have had the good fortune of participating on civic and charitable boards. Probably one of the highlights (some would say scandalous) was rebutting Hilary Clinton. Personally, I enjoyed climbing Chirripo (the highest mountain in Central America at the age of 66. Reading everyone's experiences about Carl's Hot Dogs is making my mouth water. Over the years I have traveled extensively. From those experiences I have learned that no matter the language people have one thing in common: they want to be loved and respected.
